My little corner of the world

I'm definitely a BABY BOOMER ~ coming to age in the era of "Make Love, not War".   I've had a variety of jobs during the years ~ ranging from secretary to the manager of Iron Butterfly to paralegal ~ with some modeling, dessert catering, interior decorating, and movie extra work thrown in.   I've travelled to China, Africa, South America, and Europe ~ also Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean.   I love to cook and bake and meet new friends!  ...  I'm a wife, mother and nana (7 grandkids).   ... I've done many interesting things including climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro ~ canoeing in the Amazon at midnight ~ flying a small plane ~ rafting in Utah and the Phillipines, but now I'm content to watch sports on tv with my husband and go to my grandkids' various sports activities.   ... Still, after so many years of life experience, I find myself thinking "been there, done that" alot:)
